Pearl Jam are in the midst of gearing up for the Australian leg of their Dark Matter world tour this November, and have just unveiled the official support acts for their five East Coast stadium shows. In a legendary move, the grunge icons have selected two local Aussie punk acts to do the honours.
Femme-fuelled indie-punks Teen Jesus and The Jean Teasers will be warming up stadium-sized stages for Eddie Vedder & co on the Gold Coast, as well as the Melbourne show on Monday, 18th November and Sydney on Saturday, 23rd.

While Aussie punk institution Cosmic Psychos will be doing the honours in Melbourne on Saturday, 16th November and Sydney on Thursday, 21st November.
US alt-rock icons PIXIES will also be coming along as main support for all shows.
Pearl Jam’s Dark Matter Aussie stadium tour marks their first visit to our shores in 10 years, since the 2014 Big Day Out (RIP).
It comes in honour of their 12th studio album, Dark Matter, which landed back in April.
