The String Cheese Incident kicked off their first 75-minute set at Electric Forest last night with a one-song “Rosie”.
Known for headlining the popular festival since its inception in 2011, SCI played a 75-minute “Rosie” > “Jubilee Jam” > “Rosie” in reference to playing the festival’s “Jubilee Tent” that evening.
Guitarist Bill Nershi teased the band’s “Jellyfish” but the band kept up their surprise improvisation for the festival’s first night crowd. SCI drummer Michael Travis and percussionist Jason Hann followed their performance with a EOTO set later that night.
