On Monday morning, Twiddle announced a socially distanced concert at The Concert Field at South Farms in Morris, CT set for October 3rd. By the afternoon, the concert had sold out, forcing the Vermont jam band to add a second performance on October 2nd at the same location.
This announcement comes as Twiddle’s schedule continues to fill up in a situation very uncharacteristic of the current gig economy. Earlier this month, the band completed a three-night run of drive-in concerts at the Higher Ground Drive-In Experience in Vermont, and just last week announced another pair of drive-in shows at the Cheshire Fairgrounds in Swanzey, NH September 10th and 11th.

These Connecticut shows, on the other hand, will not be drive-in concerts. Instead, fans will be able to purchase an 8’x8′ plot on the 10 acres of manicured farmland, with each plot designed for two guests. One notable advantage to the pod setup versus the drive-in is the venue will be able to utilize PA sound rather than FM transmissions into people’s cars.
As with the drive-in concerts, these events will adhere to all CDC guidelines including social distancing and mask requirements. Tickets for Twiddle at The Concert Field at South Farms in Morris, CT on October 2nd are on sale here.
